No comment about the content about actual political discussions, but this is not neccessary - it's understandable for everyone anyways

I doubt it was a malfunction at the factory, they say it's a 1987 (it's indeed the 1986+ facelift) but the 242 was discontinued in 1984 so they wouldn't have a two-door side just laying around...
I have seen a three-door Amazon as well. This one is said to have been comissioned by the buyer from a four-door. They don't know if it was made by Volvo or by a coach builder. It is said that it was used as a school taxi and they didn't want the kids to run out in the street, hence the two doors on the right and one on the left.

80s-90s UK scrapyard pics - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDc7NTtQY5I . Mostly unremarkable Brit porridge, but a few sad sights - rarest probably an Argenta (they were unicorns over here), also a Coventry factory plate Tagora, Jag XJ-C, a distant Imp and an unhealthy number of Alpines/Solaras including several special editions - no wonder there's hardly any left today.
At 2:40 a Polonez, at 3:10 a Renault 6 -also fully extinct- and at 3:21 a Datsun 240 Z.
