Seen while coming back from my aunt's place . Pic is from a car show a long time ago but it was a strange feeling to see it on the road after that long

Nice R5 on the left of the C5

Since you mentioned it...

Bonus points for the vehicle codes on the upper side of the plate being double digits, which means that the car wore the same plates (usually same owner) since at least the late 90s

Some cars I spotted at the monthly Morning Cruise last Sunday. Some were here to fit the theme of the month, which were "hatchbacks", and some which don't fit said theme but they aren't exactly what'd be considered "porridges" in my neck of the woods either so there's that going for them.

If really 1981, it's a late leftover after the replacement Spirit launch in 1980.

I hardly ever see UK Corrados - maybe they all live in Englandshire?? But I do have a nice Autocult model of the 1993 Cabrio prototype by Karmann - was fairly cheap due to a UK wholesaler stock clearance 2-3 years ago, so there might be some remnants still in the system.

I swear it wasn't a classic cars meeting at all:

Honestly, I've seen more VW Corrados in one year in the UK than 33 years in Italy (oh, and I've also found and got a 1:43 Schabak model).
