It's a Ford (UK) Anglia Estate [105E], 1961+.

I've found this one just in the database: http://imcdb.org/vehicle_253275-Subaru-DL-1977.html
But it's 1977-model?! Otherwise: very old-style for a 1977-model.

Somebody help, because this one is driving me crazy:

I recently came across this old photo, taken (I think) in California in the mid 1960s. I'm having trouble identifying the small white wagon nearest the camera (next to the green Hudson). I feel like I should know this car; it reminds me of a lot of an early Datsun wagon, but every one I can find in photos has a larger cargo area.
