The Jeep in the background, right of the K 70, is it a Willys? Maybe locally built?
And the Van in the foreground, left of the NSU 1200, is something British, or? Vauxhall? The door looks a bit like from an Opel Kadett A, but it isn't one.

Found on a postcard from ca.1973 of Kamen in Westphalia. The plate is not to identify, surely not German.

That's a Ford Escort XR3i
Hmm, on the first pic it should be something from the East, but I cannot allocate a ZIL or a Chaika... It has an old-style plate from Poland and the guy on the passenger's side is Brezhnev. The other probably a Polish leader, Gomulka or Gierek (sorry rapid130, Weasel and fck for my weak orientation 
)
On the other pic there is a Ford Capri I (a West German one, because LHD. RHD would be from Britain) in the foreground, around 1972/73, behind it a Sovietish Volga.
