The car in the film would be a full size 1968 Ford, lesser than XL and LTD due to the grille. Could be Custom or Galaxie 500:

There are several differences in trim between the 1968 Fairlane Torino as it was called the first year (but not badged), and the lesser Fairlane and Fairlane 500:

This concerns an automotive goof on an episode of "That Girl," But it also involves another issue;

Donald Hollinger's car is supposed to be a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500, but for the scene from this episode where he collides with Lou Marie's 1967 Ford Galaxie, it becomes either a 1968 Ford Fairlane 500 or a Torino.
So my question is, is there some way of distinguishing the two of them during that period, including for this scene? All the Fairlane and Torino websites seem to be defective for the time being.
