Before coming back for 2015, our Micra was like this no changes except a 5-door for 1987, and lights requirements ( CHMSL , DRL ) . One of my friend's mom used to have one, which my friend nicknamed " Microbe "

Yes, but under the Micra name, with side markers and the like. Here, it's like an LHD Japan-spec car, and those didn't exist after 1978, weel before the March/Micra was born.

Were they sold in Canada?

It looks like a japanese version, but it's LHD, and those bumpers seem quite thick. And now I realise you're from Iceland, where cars from different specs (european, USA, and so on) coexist.
Does nothing outside or inside provide a clue to the origin of this March ? Some text on the dashboard, a sticker inside the fuel filler cap, something like that.

Actually this is a Nissan March, not a Micra. Notice that the reverse lights are in the bumper and not the upper taillight clusters plus the fact that what remains of the left-hand badge seems to read March instead of Micra.
Up until now, I had not idea Marches were sold in LHD, where is this from? You're right, however, that this is a 1986-88. An earlier March would've had the same taillights as a Micra, with reverse lights at the bottom, and more notably the swallowtail rear panel - as an unplanned homage to the Golf I.

Wow! Thank you so much. I NEVER thought this could be an March, the only thing that made it weird to me were the rear-lights. They were so odd, like some kind of weird, unknown Asian marketed type of the Micra.
So it never was a "Micra" it's a Japanese version?

I hope you don't buy that for too much money

 I'm not
but I'm worried if it's... "the identity-less Micra, the micra that never was!"
