1974 BMW 2002 with big US bumpers. Also brief glimpses of a yellow VW Thing, and maybe a silverish Saab 900 bootlid with spoiler when he runs across the road.

Thanks, is it a Tii ? What about the bonnet, doesn't look standard shape.

Could be Tii - I don't know what versions sold in US 74/75. Doesn't have tints which was common on late Tii. Bonnet is I think normal - some in-car shots look odd because of wipers.
