Maybe so that for vehicles that weren't listed with their proper country of origin (*cough cough buses cough cough*) it would be somewhat easier to ID them then go through the huge swarm of vast pages.

Being able to see vehicles only in America movies, or being able to see vehicles only in Italian movies. Etc etc etc
