I just discovered the video to Dandelion's "Waiting for a Ride" tonight. Besides the band driving around in a pre-1982 Pontiac Firebird, it has a lot of stock footage of car crashes from ephemeral films and auto manufacturers crash tests.

Youtube says that this video is blocked in my country due to copyright  (Belgium, same for all Europe I guess)

Edit: I found it here, in case others have the same problem: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/sy-18085708/dandelion_waiting_for_a_ride_official_music_video/

You don't use a VPN for videos like that? http://www.hotspotshield.com/

Hulu especially is impossible to access without it.

Sorry, I didn't know music videos from American bands were violations of Belgian copyright laws. :boggled:

Is anybody from Canada and Mexico having this problem? Or any other countries for that matter? Anyway, I'm pretty sure one of the clips from this video includes this movie:
http://www.imcdb.org/movie.php?id=246747

And possibly the footage used here:

I don't think it violates Belgian copyright laws, but rather the copyright holder of the song has chosen the video to only be available in the US (for example), probably because someone else (another record company) has the rights to sell the song in other countries.

Thing that happened 7 months ago in very center of Belgrade - dead-drunk (1.98 of alcohol in the blood :wam: ) businessman from Kragujevac (central Serbia) is driving in opposite direction in front of the state Parliament, and almost crashes his car down the stairs:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYuIaXslUk8&feature=player_embedded

He did that 16th October 2009., while old traffic law was still applied, so it could be said that he got away with it - only 500 euros fine and prohibition to use a vehicle for 6 months. If he did that now - fine would be 300 euros, 8 months prohibition to use vehicle, 12 (out of maximum 18) penalty points and 15 to 60 days in jail. :halalala:

Few more horrifying things - old man driving a Yugo in opposite direction on the E-75 highway :wam: :

Another one - with Citroen XM:

With old Volkswagen Jetta:

Grandma driving a Yugo 120 kmh in opposite direction on E-75:

Item on Flemish tv recently "Best chauffeur of Liedekerke". 88 year old man parks his Fiat Panda of 149 cm wide in his garage of 155 cm. So exactly 3 cm on each side, or slightly over 1 inch.

The plate identifies it as a rental car from EuropCar. The T3 Transporter, you see in the last seconds in the background, was bought here: www.vebeg.de
It's a former Bundeswehr-vehicle.

40 years VW-plant in Salzgitter:
http://www3.ndr.de/sendungen/niedersachsen_1930/videos/ndsmag5306.html

Since 1975 they only produce engines there. It's said, that Lamboghini-engines are the only one from the whole company, which were not made there.
