A funny story about parking brakes. One day I was out driving around with my dad, looking through the city's used car dealers (we were not looking to buy, we just like to look at cars
). I had been driving for quite a while, when we stopped at a dealer to look around. My dad got out of the car and walked past one of the rear wheels, when he noticed a strange heat emitting off of it. He put his hand down behind the wheel and it was hot as fire, he said to me "Max, I think you left the parking brake on" I checked, and indeed I had
Fortuneately it didn't do much damage to the car (that we could see). But now I'm especially careful to check if the brake is on before I drive, though I often still forget...
