I'm not sure which decade is my favourite for cars, but I know it's not the 80s, if we're talking about European market cars (which can include Japanese cars). So many, plasticky, boxy, drab cars were made in the 80s. But for some reason (and I'm not trying to appease the Americans here) I think 80s American cars looked OK (although they also had plenty of junk as well), not works of art but the styling of the 80s looks better with larger cars like Cadillacs. Whereas something like the 80s Ford Fiesta just looks like a flimsy little shoebox.
