Right now I'm working on Season one of the 1960s sitcom "That Girl," which has a large number of cars. In some ways I'm not surprised; it was filmed partly on location in New York City and Ann (Marlo Thomas) is often seen getting in and out of taxicabs and buses. What really surprised me was the episode about the disastrous picnic, in which the car she and her boyfriend take on their trip actually changes into a different car at one point--from a '66 Mercury Comet to a '65! A two for the price of one, like the time I found Sgt. Carter's car from "Gomer Pyle." The entire five year run of "That Girl" is on DVD and readily available for rental.
Also coming soon, hopefully, will be the second and third seasons of "The Real McCoys." The show ran for six years but only three of its six seasons are on DVD.
