While Chevy IIs and Acadians for the Canadian market had been made at the GM plant in Oshawa, Ontario, for most of the Sixties, starting with the new 1968 models, the Canadian-only Acadians were actually made on the Chevy II line in Willow Run, Michigan, and then shipped to Canada.
