okay, cr*p... in this kind of list (or something) why not appears? less than 107 submitted by me? i don't know, many people sucks and it's true, but i'm better.
It's disgusting the lack of education of some "admins".
29/09/2012 @ 19:26:00: Lateef: Replacement of imageshack
What's your problem?
Why can't you ever write a sensible comment in comprehensive English without insulting someone?
29/09/2012 @ 19:32:28: Sandie: Replacement of imageshack
This is for the number of images uploaded into the site for comments, not for the actual contributions sent. Not being that high up on the list might be considered a good thing.

The only lack of education here is in your English.
You posted exactly 0 pictures in comments using the picture upload tool of the site itself... so it is normal that you are not in that list.
This is not a contest, it is just a list of who uses the most that feature of the site.

About geting.se, I had some time this afternoon.
- The script for restoring the pictures is ready
- I am currently uploading the 2.2 GB of backup files to the server.
Once uploaded, I'll be able to run the script so it can fix the links by picking and copying the pictures from the backup files. But that will be for tomorrow, as my connection is not so fast for uploading (though that it should be... I wonder why it goes so slowly now)
30/09/2012 @ 19:05:03: antp: Replacement of imageshack
The dead link, like now.
The "Picture not available" on oldest dead imageshack links is due to a mistake I made when doing the first tests with that script
But I could easily convert the remaining dead geting.se link to these "Picture not available" boxes. Maybe it would be better than keeping "forever dead" links...
30/09/2012 @ 19:17:24: Neon: Replacement of imageshack
Yes, IMO is better to have that box instead of the dead link...
30/09/2012 @ 19:47:35: antp: Replacement of imageshack
The downside with that box is that we can't easily search for comments containing dead links. Wouldn't it be better to edit/delete the comments with dead links then?
Anyway I'll do it in two times: first recover what I can, then we'll see for the rest.
01/10/2012 @ 06:10:14: Gomsel: Replacement of imageshack
bla bla bla...
i'm a very good contribuitor and only receive your insults... okay, very well, imcdb isn't a democratic site. English = Crap... better in spanish... jodansé! yo les avisé!
01/10/2012 @ 10:25:41: antp: Replacement of imageshack
You only got what you deserve: you talk about lack of eduction of admins without reason here.
01/10/2012 @ 21:57:09: antp: Replacement of imageshack
Restoration of geting.se pictures:
44653 pictures recovered.
However, there are still a lot of dead links. Most likely the remaining ones are lost forever
About 2/3rd could be recovered,
385 comments pages of recovered pictures:
http://www.imcdb.org/yourcomments.php?search==0ge&id=
180 comments pages of dead links:
http://www.imcdb.org/yourcomments.php?search=geting.se&id=
Those which were not backuped:
- posted after my last backup, just before the disappearing
- had special characters in name (imageshack was removing special characters, my script just searched for files with basic names, I didn't notice at first that geting.se was keeping more special characters)
- posted in old comments: I was only backuping from new comments. So when pics were replaced in old comments, they were not seen by my script. Which is annoying when people replaced my imageshack pictures by their (better) geting.se pictures: mine had time-tag in their name, new ones do not have it. So in addition of being lost, they can't even be easily remade...
For example I made a lot of captures from DVD of Italian Job (1969)
Vilero upgraded them to HD
now all is lost... (well maybe I can find them in my old backups, but that will be a lot of work)
01/10/2012 @ 22:26:00: Sandie: Replacement of imageshack
It has worked for most of my old pictures. Thank you antp
01/10/2012 @ 23:12:31: Neon: Replacement of imageshack
Also for the mine... Great work, thank you very much. Now I'm watching all the recovered pics that I had almost forgot
02/10/2012 @ 00:52:05: dsl: Replacement of imageshack
Hope you haven't disappeared??
02/10/2012 @ 07:32:40: Gomsel: Replacement of imageshack
without reason YOU INSULT MY COUNTRY, MY CARS, MY COMMENTS, MY CONTRIBUTIONS!!!
and i don't know why shits appears as admins with 10 o 15 contribs and 1 year in imcdb and me, since 2009, i posted many contribs, and comments (GOOD Comments) and are insulted by the admins WITHOUT A REASON...
You lie, "antp".
just stop to write craps and respect the only contribuitor from Argentina, right?
02/10/2012 @ 10:14:08: antp: Replacement of imageshack
Just stop to write crap and insults or you'll be banned.
This is the last warning. Just stop.
For example here where you started with absolutely no reason, as this was not about contributions but about the picture comments upload.
A normal user would say:
why I don't appear in the list?
you:
many people sucks and it's true, but i'm better.
It's disgusting the lack of education of some "admins".
02/10/2012 @ 14:51:53: Neon: Replacement of imageshack
Stop complaining for no reason, the one that Antp posted is a list of users that use the system for upload the thumbs (the xtra images) directly on the site. If you continue to use subefotos.com (today:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=536472) You will never appear in that list. So stop insult and learn to use this:
31/12/2012 @ 18:26:25: antp: Replacement of imageshack
In the comments of the movie page? These were from geting.se (so, lost forever)
