The police cars are what we used to call "Plodge Grandfifthlomats" back in the days when that was funny. In any case, while this movie did bomb(and for good reason), the movie "Joysticks" made this look like a masterpiece.

The "cream-colored hatchback" looks like a Chevrolet Citation, or one of the other GM "X-Cars."
