An account by Dante Giacosa, first published in 1979 by Automobilia, of his 40 year career as a Fiat designer "I miei 40 anni di progettazione alla Fiat" downloadable as a free PDF from Centro Storico Fiat.

Inevitably it's all in Italian so beyond me to read it, but lots of fascinating pictures to look at of prototypes and pre-productions.

Really interesting document, indeed.


The document is too big for Google translation services. Maybe you could try this freeware? I can't test it as there's no Linux version, only Windows and Mac ones, so I can't say if it does the job.
Or you may just select the parts you're interested in and use the S3 translation add-on. It works with the embedded pdf viewer in Firefox, most probably with the Chrome version too. Opera has similar add-ons, they should do the same...
